So.

Okay, so that was not the best introduction/start to a blog, but hey, give a girl a break. I’ve never been that creative, at least not when writing about myself. Rping is a whole ‘nother story. Srsly.

Let’s try this again, shall we?

I’m Toni, and I’m an eighteen year old university student. I’m living away from home for the first time, and have moved into a house with four of my friends. Well, two of them are brother and sister, but they’re friends to me, if not to each other – well, they get along, but they are siblings (well, twins) first, then friends.

I’m a very odd double-major, if I may say so myself: computer science and music. I’m hoping to either be a professional web designer, or a professional singer (of some sort). Hopefully the latter; that way I can design my own website and maintain it the way I want to. So yeah, navigation that actually works, colourschemes that don't make you want to gouge your eyes out, and useful information.

But right now, I'm stuck here, just another wannabe. Fortunately, unlike all of those weirdos on the various Idol shows (guy in the Puff The Magic Dragon costume, I'm looking at you), I can actually sing. I'd better, too, after over a decade of lessons. Sheesh.

I'd love to be in a musical, or lead a band. There really needs to be more female-fronted metal out there, a la Nightwish (even without Tarja), Within Temptation, and others. Thank the gods that my voice seems to be lending its way to those. Although being able to mimic Kate Monster/Lucy The Slut from Avenue Q is not my only talent.

Anyway, enough about me ~~oh, I'm also a natural redhead closing in on the six feet mark, and I don't love long walks on the beach XD~~. As I mentioned above, I live with four other people. We're all first year university students, but have all been friends for a long time. We're also long-time friends, having gone to school together.

Julia is my oldest and best friend. She's also my opposite in many ways: where I'm ~~very~~ tall, she's ~~very~~ short. Where I'm very fair, she's tanner. She's also the Scully to my Mulder. XD She's a classical studies major, taking Greek and Latin as well as other classics papers. She's also the only one I may have convinced to join me in this LJ thing - she mentioned something about et_tu_quinte, whatever that means. I may have not liked doing Shakespeare, but wasn't it Et Tu Brute?

*shrugs*

Alexandra and Brendan get the one description, as not only are they the sibs I mentioned above, they're also twins. For many years they were the providers of our sushi, and now we are all going to be cooking. Bugger. Anyway, both are incredibly bright, and are part of the health science program here. Alex wants to do dentistry, Brendan medicine. Now I know who to bug if I need someone like that once we all graduate.

And last, but not least, there is Zack. Tall, good-looking, smart... there are going to be a lot of random girls eating breakfast with us over the next year, I'm betting. Whether or not they were invited to stay the night, or somehow ended up following the smell Zack's Famous Bacon Breakfast, I don't know yet. He's another one to keep in touch with afterwards - law.

And, I think that's that. O-Week currently, so... yeah. Will let you know how that goes.
